This is an ancient and natural therapy handed down by many cultures through out history. It is believed that the Ancient Greeks used ear candles, for cleansing, purifying and healing on a spiritual basis, but much later on a purely physical basis. However, the practice reached the modern world via the native American Hopi Indians of North Arizona. Used by Shaman healers their ancient wall paintings show their importance in initiation rituals and healing ceremonies of the tribe also used ear candles.


The candles are made today with natural unbleached purified beeswax, honey, cotton and a mixture of herbal essential oils, which is on the basis of the old traditional formula originating from the Hopi Indians.

The treatment is a pleasant and non-invasive treatment of the ear. A Hopi ear candle treatment is ideal for all ages and especially beneficial for children and elderly people and may help with a wide range of disorders in ears and/or sinuses, relief from headaches, migraines and have a relaxing calming effect for stress disorders.

Clients remain fully clothed throughout the treatment.
